Type height of a claim can never be more than 200% taller than Statement of Identity.
Claim Certified Agency
Certifiers logo that can only be used, if certifier approves and send letter authorizing usage.
Nutrition Keys
Not required, but popular. Purpose is to show nutritionals on front of packs.
Claims
For gluten must be less than 20ppm (20 parts per million).
Statement of Identity
Must be atleast 1/16" high minimum and parallel to base of package for FDA regulated items..
Descriptive Name
Descriptive terms to further identify the product, required on specific USDA items.
Registered Trademark
This protects the brand from mis-usage.
A ™ trademark only shows intent to register and has no legal protection.
Must run within lower 30% of package, and parallel to bottom. Minimum height is dependent on square area of front panel.
USDA Inspection Seal
All products with meat & poultry must have USDA inspection seal, showing number of the manufacturing facility.
Net Contents Statement
